Easy pickup, good product

I ordered Royal Canin dry cat food online. Did the buy online pick up in store option. It was ready fast, within an hour. The food was there. Simple and quick.

Good prices, slow delivery

I ordered some Purina Pro Plan dry dog food and a new Kong toy for my retriever. The prices were competitive, especially with the Autoship discount I used. The website was easy enough to navigate. My main gripe is that shipping took 8 days to reach me in California, which felt a bit long. Everything arrived in good condition, though, so no real complaints about the product quality.

How long does PetSmart shipping usually take? My order is stuck on 'processing'.

S SaraKhan 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer

I always do curbside now. Shipping is too unpredictable.

R RahulGupta 2 weeks ago

Same here, curbside is a lifesaver.

K KavitaRao 2 weeks ago

I live too far for curbside. :(

A ArjunNair 2 weeks ago

Are you near a holiday? They get super slow around Black Friday.

K KavitaRao 2 weeks ago

No, just a regular week. So annoying.

D DeepakMehta 2 weeks ago

Mine took like 5 days last time for just kibble. It's usually faster.

P PoojaVerma 2 weeks ago

Mine finally shipped after 5 days last week.

Trying to cancel my Autoship for litter, but the option isn't there?

S SoniaKapoor 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer

I had to call them to cancel mine last month. The website was glitchy.

A ArjunNair 1 week ago

Same experience here. Had to call.

I IshaanGupta 1 week ago

Seriously? What a pain.

R RheaVerma 1 week ago

It's usually under 'My Account' then 'Autoship Subscriptions'. Is it active?

I IshaanGupta 1 week ago

Yeah, it's active. Just no cancel button.

My $10 off $50 promo code isn't working at checkout. Anyone else?

S SnehaReddy 3 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer

Make sure you hit the $50 BEFORE taxes/shipping. That usually trips me up.

A AmitJoshi 3 weeks ago

This happened to me with a grooming coupon once.

P PriyaSharma 3 weeks ago

Oh, good point! I'll double check my subtotal.

R RajeshKumar 3 weeks ago

Yeah, mine failed too. Tried logging out and back in, no luck.

A AnjaliSingh 3 weeks ago

Same. It just disappeared from my cart.

V VikramPatel 3 weeks ago

Is it a new code or one you've used before?

Can I return opened dog food to PetSmart? My dog hates this new grain free stuff.

M MeeraSharma 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer

Yes! Their policy is pretty good for opened food. Just bring the bag and receipt.

G GauravDesai 2 weeks ago

Even if it's almost empty?

M MeeraSharma 2 weeks ago

Yep, as long as it's not like, a single scoop left. I returned half a bag once.

A AnkitJain 2 weeks ago

They usually take it back. I did it with cat food my picky eater wouldn't touch.

G GauravDesai 2 weeks ago

Good to know. Thanks!

My PetSmart Treats points aren't showing up online. Anyone had this problem?

K KaranAggarwal 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer

Call customer service. They can usually manually add them or fix the glitch.

N NishaSingh 2 weeks ago

Ugh, was hoping to avoid that. Thanks though.

M MeeraSharma 2 weeks ago

Support eventually replied for me when I had a similar issue.

P PriyaSharma 2 weeks ago

Check if you're logged into the correct account. I have two sometimes.

N NishaSingh 2 weeks ago

I only have one. Hmm.

V VivekMalhotra 2 weeks ago

Mine usually take a day or two to show up after a purchase. Did you just buy something?

N NishaSingh 2 weeks ago

It's been 3 days since my last purchase. Still nothing.

The website keeps saying 'out of stock' for the dog bed I want, but it's in store?

K KajalMalhotra 4 days ago ✓ Best Answer

Their online inventory isn't always accurate with in-store stock. Call the store directly.

D DeepakMehta 4 days ago

Yep, I've seen that too. They just don't update fast enough.

A AkashSharma 4 days ago

Good idea, will do.

R RaviKumar 4 days ago

Sometimes you can't order certain items for pickup if they're low stock even if they have some.

A AkashSharma 4 days ago

That's annoying. I want that specific bed.

My order for live crickets was missing from my curbside pickup. What do I do?

R RohanMehta 4 days ago ✓ Best Answer

Go straight back inside. They probably forgot to grab them from the live animal section.

D DivyaReddy 4 days ago

Ugh, so annoying. I just left.

S SaraKhan 4 days ago

This happens all the time with my feeder insects.

P PreetiJain 4 days ago

Did you check your receipt? Sometimes they don't even charge for them if they're out.

D DivyaReddy 4 days ago

They charged me. Definitely missing.

Can I stack coupons at PetSmart? Like a manufacturer coupon and one of their store coupons?

S Steve 3 months ago

From my experience, usually no. They let you use one or the other, not both at the same time. It's kinda annoying but most places are like that.

C Colin Walsh 3 months ago

AFAIK, they don't let you stack 'em. But you can definitely use their Treats points with a coupon, which is pretty sweet. That's how I usually save the most.
